I had such a perfect summer evening hanging out with Caroline and her Momma for Caroline’s senior pictures!! It’s so crazy how fast a school year can fly by… Caroline is headed to University of Michigan in the fall 🙂
I always love when I have the opportunity to photograph siblings of previous seniors because they always come full of energy because they know they need to be ready to have a great time. I was looking forward to Hannah’s senior pictures even more than usual because I already knew she is a natural in front of the camera because I’ve been lucky enough to photograph her entire family for family portrait sessions. Soooo, after at least two rain make-up-reschedules… or maybe it was 3 rain outs the weather finally cooperated. I think all but 1 of my rain-out-reschedules this past summer were for Hannah’s senior pictures but it always works out and we had a beautiful summer evening!!
I can’t wait to see all of Hannah’s updates on all of her adventures and accomplishments in the coming years… she’s headed to Marist College in New York to study fashion merchandising and business. Ohhhh but wait, that’s after she studies for a year in Florence ITALY!!
Everyone always asks – “When is the best time to schedule senior pictures?”
Caitlyn’s senior session was in early June which I think is perfect!! Late May to mid June has the most perfect temperatures (not 90° with 100% humidity) so you are comfortable in a sundress or jeans and long sleeves, the air and sunlight is clear and crisp, and you don’t have to try to hide a summer’s worth of crazy tan lines!
My spring and summer calendar will open soon! Just shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will add you to my Class of 2017 contact list so you can be notified early when my calendar opens and get your choice date for you senior picture!!
Amelia is a superstar!! You can see her live this weekend at Dominican High School’s production of The Little Mermaid – as Ariel!! After years of attending Camp Minikani she was offered the honor of a counselor this coming summer! I am so glad to have the had the opportunity to take your senior pictures this past summer. I can’t wait to see all of the things you will accomplish at UW-Madison in the fall!
